Unpolitic.me Replaces Political Facebook Posts with Links to Cat Pictures

Chrome: The US election is only two weeks away, which means the political arguments are getting pretty heated—particularly on Facebook, where intelligent discussion is something one can only dream of. Unpolitic.me takes those annoying political posts and replaces them with Instagram pictures.
We've shared one way to block annoying political posts before, but if you use Chrome and want something a bit simpler, Unpolitic.me is perfect. It won't slow your browser down as much as Social Fixer will, you can create your own filters (though it comes with lots of words already filled in), and it'll even replace those political posts with pictures of cats—or, if you aren't a fan of felines, whatever other photo feed you throw at it. (When we tested it, the pictures didn't embed correctly, but it did hide the political post, which is really the whole point—and we could still click on the link to see a cute cat picture if we wanted to.)
The best part? If you want to view a specific post, you can click the "Undo" button to see what that person actually said, so it doesn't hide stuff completely. If your politically ignorant friends are starting to tick you off as the election gets closer, this extension is a must-have.
Unpolitic.me is a free download, works wherever Chrome does.
